RUTH ESTHER is a Pacific Northwest-based fashion artist and the creative force behind 1 OAK-Ruth Esther Design. A military veteran and self-taught visionary, Ruth specializes in one-of-a-kind wearable art that fuses vintage sensibilities with avant-garde structuralism. Since 2017, she has dedicated her practice to the psychology of garment making, exploring how textiles can serve as a conduit for self-awareness, healing and personal empowerment.
